David Walliams has claimed he is 'probably non-binary' he as he candidly opened up about his sexuality and gender identity in a new interview on Monday.
The comedian and creator, 53, also admitted that he thinks life 'might have been easier' for him if he were gay.
He appeared on the Australian podcast Uncomfortable Conversations with Josh Szeps, where he made the revelations about himself.
David explained that if people used the same language as we do now when he was younger, he would have most-likely identified as non-binary.
He told the host: 'I think in a way I'd probably say I am non-binary I consider. I don't know exactly.'
The comedian recalled: 'It's absorbing because I had this girlfriend at the conclude of university and we used to go out.

It’s 11.30pm at David Walliams’ London home when our Zoom cameras attach. Unsurprisingly, he’s somewhat sedate but extremely generous with his time, humble and fairly flirtatious.
“I would usually be tucked up by now… you’ve got me in a slightly delirious state, which is probably good because I’m basically going to be very unguarded and say some things that I’m going to regret terribly,” he confesses early on, before telling me, “You said ‘yes’ too quickly,” after he had charmingly credited Little Britain co-creator Matt Lucas for the show’s success.
As he tells me he would usually be sipping on cocoa at this hour, I mention a glamorous-looking bar fridge stocked with champagne that sits behind him.
“The only reason there is champagne in there is because I never ever imbibe it,” he protests.
“I barely drink at all! So basically, when you arrive over and visit me, I’ll open the champagne. I will sip on the froth and then not drink anymore because I don’t like it. I don’t reall

The 53-year-old comedian has drawn curiosity since he found fame due to his camp sense of humour and fondness for dressing up as women in sketches.
Speaking to the Uncomfortable Conversations with Josh Szeps podcast, Walliams revealed he does not consider himself entirely heterosexual and male, suggesting he is somewhere between genders.
He said, "I assume , in a way, I'd probably say I am non-binary, I think. I don't know exactly."
Reflecting on his youth, he said, "It's interesting because I had this girlfriend at the end of university and we used to go out. I used to go out to gay clubs and boogie for like six hours, and I'd be wearing a skirt and stuff like that."
He continued, "I sort of think, where would I be positioning myself maybe, if I was now 19 or 20?
"Because I went to Bristol University and did a drama degree. And I think that course is where you're probably... if there's a team of people who are going to be most interested in that sort of area, most drawn to that area, it's probably going to be drama students."
