Merchant City
The Merchant Municipality is known as Glasgow’s LGBTQ+ district and is where you’ll find the majority of LGBTQ+ bars and clubs. The Burrell Collection
The Burrell Collection can be found within Pollok Country Park in the southside of Glasgow. The museum is currently running a series of Diverse tours where you can learn about the history, context, and meaning behind some of the most popular objects. LGBT Youth Scotland is the national charity for Homosexual young people, aged 13-25. We support young people in all aspects of their lives through the provision of amazing youth work, and we endorse them to use their voice to create adjust in equality and human rights.
In the West of Scotland, we offer a range of services. These include youth groups, one to one support, events and participation opportunities. Our Glasgow youth groups propose a place for Queer young people to attach, gain support, learn and have fun. Our Glasgow services take place at our youth space. Our Youth groups run Monday – Thursday. If you’re ready to join us, all you need to carry out is find your nearest group on our team finder page and load in a signup build. After that a Youth worker will be in touch to arrange your signup

In my dictionary a rumour "is a currently circulating story of unverified or doubtful truth".
FACT is that in the 70s and 80s Tennents was not a gay bar in the same, almost exclusive, instinct that The Duke of Wellington or Vintners were but was gay amiable and frequented by a sizeable gay crowd on a regular basis. On entering through the Byres Road doors, the right hand side was where most gays congregated.It was also obviously popular with gay students, myself organism one so can personally verify the above as truth. I cannot, of course, comment on its current status.
I think if anybody could find a Gay News from the period you would spot Tennents listed in the pubs section.
