Charlotte gay pride 2024
Here's what to look forward to at this weekend's 2024 Charlotte Pride
More than 250,000 people are expected in uptown this weekend for the Charlotte Celebration parade and street festival. The local celebration of LGBTQ visibility has grown exponentially since its meek beginnings at UNC Charlotte back in 1981.

What to Do and Who to See at Charlotte Pride 2024
While Lgbtq+ fest Month has come and gone for much of the country, in Charlotte, festivities are just about to get started for Charlotte Pride 2024, which is observed from Aug. 9-16 this year, wrapped up with two days of festivities and a parade on Aug. 17-18.
Those last two days will feature performances and other happenings spread across five stages: the Main Stage, Community Stage, Flourish at Mint Museum Uptown, Charlotte Black Pride Stage, and Charlotte Gaymers Network Stage.

Charlotte Pride Festival & March 2024
After an incredible 2023 Pride season, Charlotte’s largest street festival and march returns to Uptown Charlotte! From 2,000 attendees in 2001 to a record-breaking 275,000 at last year’s event, the Charlotte Pride Festival & Parade returns again to the streets of Uptown Charlotte as we celebrate 20+ years of Charlotte Pride and more than 40 years of Pride legacy in the Queen City.
