Wer schon immer wissen wollte, wie es wirklich auf einer schwulen Kreuzfahrt zugeht, sollte einen Blick in den neuen Bildband "Sail Away" des Berliner Fotografen Peter Dobias werfen.
Die Aufnahmen entstanden letzten Sommer auf der Jubiläums-Cruise von La Demence durch das Mittelmeer. "Die Kreuzfahrer erleben eine Woche lang ein komplettes 'Sail Away' von der Realität und genießen eine Welt der Freiheit, in der sie sein können, wer sie sein wollen, ohne dass sie verurteilt werden", erklärte Dobias zu seinen ungeschminkten Porträts. "Die meisten beschreiben es als die 'beste Urlaubserfahrung aller Zeiten'. Es ist eine perfekte Mischung aus Partys, Sex, Sonnenaufgängen, Entspannung an einem der Pools, atemberaubenden Aussichten, Besuchen kultureller Stätten, Sonnenuntergängen und wieder Partys."
