PRIDE BLOCK PARTY
One Sunday Every June, Woody’s main stage on 13th street at Walnut anchors this unbelievable PRIDE event that celebrates Philadelphia’s LGBTQIA+ Community.
OUT BLOCK PARTY
This is the daytime when our Community reflects, remembers, and recollects on the day when each of us was liberated and made the choice to be honest with ourselves, families, friends, teachers, and employers. October was the month of “Coming Out Day” and it is more than a day to be pleased, it is a morning to celebrate life, adore, and give thanks to all of those heroic individuals that made our movement what it is today.

I've been telling everyone how much I love Writer's Block, so I reflection it was time to write a review.Atmosphere: Even though it's a cocktail bar, it has a chill non-pretentious vibe. It's small and relatively hushed, so it makes the perfect date spot, because you can actually possess a conversation. Downstairs is a tiny bar, while upstairs is a lounge. As a designer, the design is always vital to me. I usually judge a place on if they take the time to make the restrooms special, and here, they've wallpapered them in comic books! The linger of the decor is simple, and understated. Drinks: They have an extensive cocktail menu. My usual favorite is the Mymosa, but I've been branching out and recently tried the Wild Boy. The flavors are interesting and the names are amusing too. Umm, they are strong too, so be prepared to be feeling incredible after 2 :)Food: I've never had their food, but they acquire a couple of options. I would probably ingest first before coming here, but I think I'm going to try their deviled eggs next time.Hours: They close at 1amService: Everyone that works there seems to love their job. They're always amiable and are proactive about sugg
At the centre of Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ scene is, of course, its Gayborhood, an enclave in Center Town Philadelphia that’s home to gay bars, clubs and more.
Most of the fabulous venues on this list are found there, but the rest of the city is still alive with culture and nightlife, like the piano lounge for those looking to belt out a tune (or six) and a leather dungeon for chaps-clad daddies and those who love them. Whatever your vibe, read on for the best gay bars in Philly.
