Strangely, Minneapolis had a Moby Dick's on Hennepin Avenue equidistant from the two big homosexual bars, the Saloon and the Gay 90s, but it was more of a street hustler/tough guy/dipsomaniac type of dive. The Gay 90s, incidentally, was not originally a same-sex attracted bar, but became one in the late 1970s, I think.
