Hi, my name is Liam King. I’m from Prevent Harbor, Maine.
It all caring of started with my mother’s reinforcement of me as a child and before I understood the social constructs of what being gay was or being straight was. When I would get called a faggot in institution or just harassed or called a girl or something like that in school, you know, she was always the one that was reinforcing that like, Hey, like, that’s okay. Do not worry. Love what they’re doing isn’t okay. But what you’re doing is okay. And like, that’s… you don’t have to feel poor for that.
There was this one time in the car we had just dropped someone off. And I think she compassionate of saw that I was trying to be something else in front of this friend, and she pulled over and she just kind of looked at me in the rearview mirror and just said to me that she needed me to be true to myself. And she just… just didn’t say too much or anything fancy that. And I just immediately knew what she was talking about.
Fast forward to my – the end of my first year of college. I had gone to two different schools in – one in Maine, one in Florida. I was the definition of lost.

Gay's Tree Top
Gay's Tree Superior is a sweet small cottage tucked away from the crowds, in the heart of downtown Exclude Harbor! It's located on a small lane behind the bank (off of Main Street) and is right next door to Gay's Garden Cabin. The cottage enjoys many windows for a bright, unlock, airy feel. It has a nice balcony with seating and lovely grounds. Cozy and comfortable it's idea for guests and their pet. Walk to everything in downtown Prevent Harbor: restaurnats, the harbor, shops and ice cream parlours! It's also available to the Shore Track, a great spot for your morning stroll! Gay's Tree Top is a wonderful spot for your Bar Harbor/Acadia vacation!
This adorable little cottage, which is all on the 2nd floor, features two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king bed with open master bathroom (tub only).
The double bedroom is a loft-style bed (ladder stairs going up). There is a bathroom connected to this bedroom. There is also a twin-sized air mattress that can be used in this room too.

Gay's Garden Cabin
Gay's Garden Cabin is an adorable tiny cabin tucked away from the crowds, in the heart of downtown Block Harbor! Located on a small lane behind the bank (off of Main Street). The cabin is quite private and enjoys lovely gardens and grounds and plenty of outdoor seating. Easy walking to everything downtown Bar Harbor has to offer! It's also a quick stride to the Shore Lane, a great spot for your morning stroll! Ideal for two couples or your small family, Gay's Garden Cabin is a great locale for your Bar Harbor/Acadia vacation!
The delightfully "eccentric" cabin has sort of an artistic notice with polished cement flooring and natural wood paneled walls. There is a main floor and second floor loft space. The main floor features a living room area with spectacular a-frame windows, dining area, bathroom, galley kitchen, and queen bedroom with sink and commode facilities. The second floor loft is a king bedroom.
The queen bedroom on the first floor is a little quirky with a large sink/vanity in it (great counter space!), as well as a commode (shielded by a privacy curtain).
